ABOUT HANDPAINTED YARNS
Our yarns are carefully painted in skeins to achieve a sophisticated result. Sometimes we photograph the skeins "as painted" to clearly show the individual colors, & sometimes we roll the skeins before taking pictures to show the final blended effect. In all cases, once painted skeins are rolled & worked, the various colors mix & blend to create our stunning colorations. Your finished item will have gorgeous strokes of color that repeat rhythmically throughout your piece, and not those unsigthly splotches that signal amateurish painting or poorly designed mass-market spritz-dyed yarns. (In other words, we paint for pleasing "random regularity" & not "random unrelated splotches.")

TIPS FOR NAVIGATING THIS SITE

- The Colorways page shows colorway options at a glance, & you can click on the thumbnails to enlarge them. (The pictured yarn style is in parentheses below each colorway name.)
- Yarns & Kits are shown on the catalog pages -- just click on the blue category buttons at the top of every page.
- The FAQ's page is loaded with useful information, including a needle size chart and colorway suggestions arranged by season.
- Shopping Cart: To purchase an item, select your colorway and click the Add Item button. Your selection will go into your cart, where you can revise quantity. When you're done shopping, just click on the Secure Checkout button & your shopping cart will open in the Paypal site to complete payment.
A WORD ABOUT OUR YARN CATEGORIES
- Chenille: We buy exclusively from two premier yarn mills to ensure only the highest quality & durability.
- Premium Fibers include yarns spun with alpaca & silk for that added touch of luxury.
- Cottons & Rayons include smooth & textured yarns, in pure cotton or rayon or blends of these two cellulose fibers.
- Wool Classics are smooth-spun yarns.
- Wool Textures include mohair, boucles, spiral-spun, or thick-thin yarns.
COLORS: All of our colorways are available on all of our yarns.
Different fibers may take dyes a little differently, but the effects are always beautiful!

SHIPPING: Charged as a percentage of your merchandise total:
- $ 0.01 - $29.00 = 20%
- $29.01 - $55.00 = 15%
- $55.01 - $85.99 = 12%
- $86.00 & higher = 10%

RETURN POLICY: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will refund the amount of your merchandise upon receiving the returned item. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
